Anyone know any poppy banRAB that the lyrics dont make you wanna puke? Like semi alternative but obviously pop. Ive been listening to the new Ok Go album and its refreshing to my metalcore playlist. It fits well right next to The Acacia Strain.

np: the black keys - your touch.
My friend showed me this banRAB, they're pretty safe.

I'm having that problem. I'm not even bothering to just direct people to the guide anymore. I enjoyed doing that, it was easy :( Nowadays the only time I really sit down to crit things is when I'm hung over and tired. Like now. Ugh at student cliche.

It can work, it can be done so that the death isn't the main focus, just the reaction to it. 'Mid Term Break' would be a classic example - the narrator is too young to comprehend the concept of death, but the poem is very good in its telling of his reaction to it. It does have to be dealt with delicately though or, like you said, it comes of as narcissistic and egotisical. But I thought schyma did well.

Hours later edit: I've written something, but its about fertility/miscarriages. bleh. And its pretentious. And i had to put religion in it again. Mayeb see it sometime soon. I don't know.

Well my exams are now over and they weren't too bad either.

So now I've got very little school work or anything besides starting my A2 courses, so I'll be getting back to writing and critting again I suppose.

SD, are you modding S&L again, or just temporarily while DFelon is away?

So I figured it is S&L tradition that we share landmark postcount in the Community Thread. Here you go.

Ditto Jason's comment. There's really only a handful of regular posters, and ignoring the inherent elitism of such a division, most of the forums simply wouldn't get the kind of traffic that would justify it's existence. Not only that, but I suppose the responsibility of deciding what goes where will have to be the moderator's, and I think they've got enough on their plate given the new critique rule.

Rightio whatever. Ive lost interest now. Ive registered to talk about music and my interest in it and wasn't expecting the reception i got just trying to be friendly thats all. Just never come across a moderator with such brilliant people skills as you. Please never get a job were you are required to interact with others.

Manners and civility a rarity of today.

Anyway back to music.

Hmmmm, but I'm a Brit... surely it can't be that much of a yankee term?

Besides, that negates the real reason for my name change, which is so I can pretend to be part of the elite club that know each others' real names. :p
