Cloverfield/1-18-08

Took me awhile to figure it out even after I'd been told.....

1) You can only turn over the top picture.
2) Click on one of the shorter edges of the picture and hold down the mouse button.

3) Now quickly flick the mouse from left to right and the picture should flip over.

4) If you want to turn over another picture grab hold of it with your mouse and shuffle it around until it jumps to the top of the pile

5) Not all have notes on but its cool to see anyway.

But will the only people who will go and see this film be those who go through the "Cloverfield Experience" and find out things about it, before it is released?

I left halfway through (never done that before), simply didn't get into what little plot there was and although I thought the actors and effects were great I thought the camera work CONSTANTLY BLOODY SHAKING just got annoying after 15 minutes.

One of the worst movie experiences I've ever had. The other two people I was with watched it all the way through, neither impressed by it. We're wishing we'd seen Sweeney Todd instead now. Feel robbed of our ticket money. The thing that really amused me was my fiancee (who lived in NY for 5 years) noticed a huge number of plot holes, impossibilities in geography and a willingness to use the best know areas of NY even though they're miles apart (except in the movie.)

Stupid, stupid movie.

You'll either love it or utterly hate it.

2/5 from me - sympathy vote for the great casting.

Is a logical script and storyline available somewhere on the internet too as (oh my god!) it sure wasn't in the film. I can''t believe the guys behind Angel and Lost were behind this.

I just found it a thoroughly enjoyable movie and wasn't bothered by any plot discrepancies. Faults can be found in most films if looked for.

Cloverfield took me back to the time when I first saw Jurassic Park, that sense of seeing something new and thrilling. It was both exciting and scary.

I really liked it:)

from what i can tell from the trailer this movie could be quite interesting, although i'm sick of the way it is being hyped like the 'best thing ever' (on aint it cool, anyway) just because of the JJ Abrams connection. I mean Lost is okay but i would hardly call him the next Spielberg yet (which i have seen him referred as)

Awesome movie, though im still feeling the effects of motion sickness!
For me, the most enjoyable part of the movie was the fact that the monster didnt look like all the other monsters you had seen before. it was actually scary and quite disturbing, and didnt make you think "Godzilla!".

I never realised that it produced little alien/monsters either!!! That came as a complete surprise. I guess theyve left a lot to be explored in a sequel, but I personally liked that fact that a lot of it wasnt explained. NO-one tried to give a crap explanation of how the monster was born or why it was there!

Very verrrrry good movie! Hope no-one tries to compare it to any other movies, cause its deifnately unique!

Not scary at all. No tension, no excitement. Imagine it shot normally: awful. Which means it's all concept and no story.

LoaRAB of plot holes, too.
