October 11th 1997 I believe today's episode is. A brand new one! (To The Vault at least).

Edit: might be wrong- my Guinness Book of Hit Singles says that Jimmy Ray "New Entry" was released on October 13th, so this is probably the October 18th edition.

I notice with the post 1996 relaunch they have a copuple of songs featuring the artist talking about the release etc, but the sound quality of the speech is terribly poor. Is it the same for others?

The daft thing about record companies reporting videos on YouTube is that they're not actually against YouTube itself because all the major labels have their own official channels. So I'm not sure what their problem is!

Total total cock up. Yesterday we got part 1 4 times over and today we get one that was already shown last year (I've already got it):mad: Will Chart Show TV ever pull their fingers out??

I've yet to turn capture a full ep to DVD this time round. Didn't know about the first 2, tuned in halfway though the 3rd. Fired up last sunday only to find it had started early and it was the same one as the day before anyway. Yesterday ready to go again and we got part 1 4 times over. Today finally ready to get one at last and no I've already got this one from last year. Seeessh will I be 5th time lucky next saturday perhaps?

I wonder if they're going to go week by week through from '93... it's actually a shame that they don't show them a few times a week really. And also a shame I'm in France this year dang ! '93-'95 was my golden age ! Bah !

I can't see them not showing the 1991 editions, they were the most shown last time. More easy like 1992 to prepare for screening unlike 96-98 with the telephone numbers etc.

I'm torn over showing two episodes over the weekend instead of one being a repeat. On the one hand we get to see more episodes but if you miss one then you've lost your only chance of seeing it.

I'm not sure really, he didn't say anthing on this thread I'd have thought would get him banned. Maybe it was something he posted elsewhere in the forums (if it was, it's been deleted now, though).

Same here- including the Channel 4 editions, which I've never seen.

All I have to rely on is the last ever edition and the first 20 minutes of the 30/9/89 edition on the end of an old tape.

What I mean, is that there might be some people who claim to have an episode, which they don't own. To check if someone truely has that episode, you can ask them what songs are on the video. If they mention the songs and it corresponds mostly to the year (e.g. 1995), then they're telling the truth. Its just a way of making sure you're not getting ripped off.

Oh yes, ProgrammesTV is the seller, who sold me the chart show episode. I guess she just got the 1995 episode. She is a good seller, because she was honest and she delivered the goods, as they say. Hmmmm I'm surprised she is charging

When The Vault showed 1996-98 editions they covered the phone numbers up but I seem to remember when shown on ITV as a late night repeat the phone numbers were removed.

How do you expect us to know? The EPG doesn't say, there hasn't been a trailer this week. As usual, there's no way of knowing until it actually comes on.

I see they have put it in 4:3 with a blurred image to make it look 16:9 and also have the year in the schedule.

Seems they are taking it more serious than last time.

Just caught the end of a strange half-hour New Chart Show on 10:30pm on Monday... it featured the Saturdays' Comic Relief single, so it must still be going. By what I saw, it finished on a New Release, so it's still being weird as usual.

Yes, it was. 12/10/1991. This episode shows just how their chart differed from the official chart. Bryan Adams was shown as being at Number 3, when he was still at number one (and was for another month after this point).
