Classic Chart Show Showing On The Vault 356

Its great to see the Chart Show back a decade after it ended on ITV. The new version seems true to the original version with the nice animations, pop up facts and play/ffwd etc!

It would be nice if they could get it back on ITV - even if it was late at night!
 
I found an audio cassette of part of a chart show from I think Saturday 19 November 1994.
This is what I could make out of what was featured.

The Dance Chart was great, I can't believe I'd forgotten all about the Poing record. :D

I loved Felix "It Will Make Me Crazy", they only showed a brief clip during the rundown but You Tube came to the rescue. :cool:
 
Either the 1995 Twixtown or the 1996-1998 version. Yes, that's what I said.

The fairground theme just didn't do it for me, sadly. The intro was awesome though. The Pepe Jeans theme, well, the intro went on for a bit, especially before the tune kicked in. I really liked the music for the start of Part 2, though. Just something about it...

As Steve said, the 1995 version was lively and feel-good. Just a shame The Vault would have a nightmare editing it. I preferred the Top 10 intro in 1995 rather than the 1992 version, as that dragged on as well. Originally, I wasn't too fussed on the 96-98, but I grew fond of it when I was working with it on my Chart Show recreation.

And yes, I'm still aiming to make that 1995 version which I said I'd do ages ago...
 
Frank you did a chart show classic there Kelly Clarkson falls to 4 on the official chart but is no1 on yours and the actual no1 is only at number 8
 
I think that this is one of the episodes they showed when they bought the repeats back earlier in the year (the first one they showed, from August 1992), but it's one of the ones I didn't actually record, so I'm grateful for it being shown again.
 
I use a screen capture program - sorry I didn't mention it in the first place. I use Camtasia Studio and just select the area of the powerpoint screen. I've got a 16:10 monitor working on a 16:9 project so I can't capture the full screen.

Change the background of all slides to a bright green, and use the chroma key effects in Premiere. To add an extra effect, fiddle about with the controls of the effects - whilst this also removes any trace of green around the graphic, you can also make the graphics translucent to make it seem a bit more authentic.

I'd recommend changing the settings of the recording as well. The default setting is about 5 fps which is far too low for such a project.
 
Does anyone know what other shows "Video Visuals" were respsonsible for and likely to own the copyrights? I notice that The Vault's current 'boyband weekend' is featuring vintage interviews so I'm curious to know which programmes these are likely to originate from?
