I really like it on Californication. And By The Way for that matter.

You know, I think By The Way is better than people give it credit for. Listening to it now. It grows on me with each listen. And listening to it with some good headphones for once I think I might have been too harsh when I said this album is a waste of Flea and Frooshes talent. Its just a bit more low key but theres some solid riRAB and basslines to be heard.

Stadium Arcadium is still a huge disappointment though.
 
The worRAB all make sense together, I don't see where you're drawing that from.

No. Because he was speaking in the context of Californication. And if you're talking about going mad on the offensive, look at you, dude! You rip into me for nothing. Chill! I wasn't being elitist, and objected to the statement because I found it silly and irritating.
 
I have to disagree with one thing. The beat for otherside i feel fits in there absolutely perfectly. Chad smith does a great job with keep rhythm and feeling of the song. he uses a basic rock beat, with some funk influence and a couple creative licks.

ps: great review, this is probly my favorite album of all time along with BSSM and BTW. And you did good job reviewing, especially with Road Trippin. That was a perfect way to end the album.

I won't say they are unoriginal as far as crappy pop banRAB go. But yeah, their music is still the kind of radio gunk that makes my teeth rot.
 
I didn't. I came to discuss the album. Then I saw that statement written in the opening thread and got annoyed. I wish people would just stop writing/saying/conceiving of STUPID things like that. Just utterly idiotic, pea-brained stereotypical tripe which people think is alright just because it's not saying anything negative.
 
So whats your beef with the Chili peppers, you seem to really feel the need to prove they are a no good average non funk band?
