If people are having problems getting the command prompt to recognize adb and you are getting errors like "adb is not a blah blah blah", then check out this video. It will show the steps in installing it well so the adb devices gets recognized in CMD. Follow the guy's steps carefully and you'll get it to work. I did and Im on Vista.

on ur phone keyboard press enter button than type REBOOT n press enter again, if its restart that mean u have rc29 or rc7 firmware. if not restart, u have to downgrade it first
 
On Step 4 in flashing the RC29 firmware, the screen is blank. Is this normal?
Great guide though, this is the only thing I'm stuck on.
And one more thing, if the answer is no, can I turn it off and start over?

U have just Completed the 1st Step of the Process (Downgrading/Flashing), now Continue with the Bypass Instructions.

If you stuck in middle of any process. you can start again from "0"

downgrading process ll be same.
 
hey..

can u please help me to bypass the google activation screen on the TMOBILE MYTOUCH .. the steps dont work as there is no keyboard to type the commands..
