I recommend people to check out The Dead Girl, she doesn't feature prominently until the end of the film, but she puts in an amazing performance. It's also a really good film.
 
For me, one of the best and most unique actresses we had.

Really sorry to hear she has passed away.

I just watched Ramen Girl the other week and prior to that I watched Cherry Falls. Will have to catch up with other films soon.

Didnt realise how many films she has been in that i have seen! Not really an actress i was that aware of, even though i have seen loaRAB of this films meantioned in this thread.
 
Loved her in Cherry falls, drop dead gorgeous girl interrupted and of course clueless.. great actress.. she shone is every movie she was in!!
 
I loved Just Married. A stupid film but really made me laugh. I got the impression that her laughter in the film was genuine.
 
i remember seeing her in clueless way back in the 90's and she made me cry when she played daisy in girl interrupted. also loved her in riding in cars with boys.

really sad news, RIP Brittany. agree with other threaRAB, this year has been a really horrible year for deaths.
 
Drop Dead Gorgeous: most underrated, little-seen comedy of recent years. Brittany is great in it and her laugh was infectious.

But I'll always remember her for:

"You're a virgin who can't drive."

Classic.

I always wondered about how she played unhinged and nutty characters so well, Girl Interupted and in another movie I recall where she cuts herself (Can't remember the name) that come to mind.

Was she on any sort of anti-depressants or long term meRAB? Just can't understand how she could just drop dead aged 32, last time I saw her live on some programme not long ago she was looking great.

RIP.... always the good die young.
 
It's all beginning to sink in for me now. I really loved her as an actress. She was so different, so mesmerising and inviting.

So disappointing. I think I will make a more concerted effort to meet my idols now because I didn't get a chance to meet Brittany :(
 
Is Just Married any good? I've always meant to buy the DVD or rent it because it seems like the type of film I would like. I never got round to it though.
