Brittany Murphy - RIP - Your favourite Brittany movies

Why an earth are you posting here? It is simply a thread started to say which films were most liked.

Why are you so bitter to post in this manner? To suggest that she wouldn't show respect to you, or me, because "nobody actually knows anyone else" is odd...I am sure if she knew of me, (perhaps through my choice of profession) and I was unfortunate enough to pass away at such an early age, she might wish to say something. The key difference is, she is widely known due to her career, and because some people enjoyed her acting work, they wanted to pay tribute. Simple.

You are welcome to your views of course, but it speaks volumes when you post such comments.
 
I remember her for her Sin City role (Clueless was a bit far back for me to recall with clarity), but she the part she really stood out to me in was her role as a penguin in Happy Feet.
She had a lovely voice, and I adored her rendition of 'Somebody to Love' in that... it was a kind of similar experience to hearing Jane Horrocks sing in Little Voice - unexpected, and a very pleasant surprise.

Not sure what she was like as a person, and I can't say I was anticipating her next movie, let alone name it, but it's sad nonetheless.
She was however, 'living the dream', and making the most of her life before it was cut short, which is something to be grateful for (though I doubt that'll be of much comfort to her husband).
