Best horror film?

Not quite, as Sam Raimi has clearly stated there will be an Evil Dead 4, it just wont be soon. Bruce Campbell/Ash even said if you can pull Sam away from Spiderman 3, then you will get it. So maybe after that claptrap is finished Sam Raimi will see sense and make a movie we want - Evil Dead 4.
 
Wilderness (2006) A nice little british horror movie starring Sean Pertwee and is set on a supposedly deserted island, where a small group of trouble making teens go for punishment. And they end up getting it, in more ways than one. And I shall say no more on it, see go it for yourself. It is 90 minutes of fun, and thrills.

9/10 I give this movie.
 
As a general rule, Wes Craven, John Carpenter and Clive Barker are quite well known horror directors. Stephen King stories are sometimes creepy, and sometimes pants, so choose carefully :)
 
Bye the way becky12123 I envy you being 15 years old, because you are still young enough to be truly scared by some of these movies. I mean that in a nice way, not that I want you to feel frightened :)
 
Halloween & The Omen are both good if your looking for something tense and quite scary. If it's a gorefest you want, I really enjoyed the recent 'Dawn of the Dead' remake.

'Rosemarys Baby' is also very creepy, and one that not that many people seem to have heard of.
 
Texas Chain Saw Massacre

I've watched heaps of horror viRAB, and years ago I'd watched virtually every one in the video shop. That is the only one that has given me full on nightmares tho. If you don't fancy that, try one of the hellraisers.
 
If he chooses to make another Bubba after the Nosferatu one. He might do. But I think Bruce will make time for the ED4 though, as he knows how much we all want it badly (I'd sell my own Granny if it would hurry up production on it). And he is that kind of actor that gives his fans what they want, well unless they happen to be a stalker :D
 
Not many people would agree Muddygirl but The Ring terrified me!The original Japanese version is even worse!Lights on at night for a week time!!!!! :eek:
