Best Disney Animated Film?

CGI - Cars then toy story
Drawn - Aladdin then Lion King

Buts Cars overall - must have seen it over 50 times with my son and I can still watch it and still nice new bits - utter class:D

Are you collecting the little cars from the film!? There's over 50 now and it's costing me a fortune!

Which leaRAB me onto the strong rumours over Cars II. Cars has the highest mechandising sales of any Disney movie even though the film didn't get the hype that Nemo etc. did. This has made Disney sit up and take notice and ask Pixar for part 2.

That there are a further 40+ Cars cars to be released in 2008 shows that it's popularity is not waning.

I think is a shame what happened to Disney.

They had great films in the early 1990s - Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Lion King, then for some reason Hunchback, Pochahontas and Mulan struggled and they lost their nerve.

Now that John Lasseter is in the charge though and has reinstated the 2D animation from next year I have high hopes again.

Love them all but especially the early nineties drawn Disney revival especially Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin - anything with singing!!

Nah, I think it was because it was their first feature length film featuring people (albeit people with super powers). I like how they tackle a different theme in each one.. and I thought it was too early for people.

I have to say, I feel like a terrible fan because I haven't seen Ratatouille. My friend was going to see it with me, but he saw it without me when I was away.. and have been waiting for the DVD to come out. Getting it this weekend. But choosing from other seven is difficult. I'll give it a go.

1) Monsters, Inc.
2) Toy Story
3) Cars
4) A Bug's Life
5) Toy Story 2
6) Finding Nemo
7) The Incredibles

Again, Finding Nemo is so far down.. and I love it! Cannot wait for WALL-E this summer.

Hood is an often forgotten '70's Disney film. Trivia: The Phoney King of England number used near identical character placement to Snow White and the Dwarfs dance.

I'm not sure many people will know, but Ollie Johnstone passed away yesterday. He was the last of Walt's "Nine Old Men" (original animators).

Ollie animated Prince John in Robin Hood, to name one of his many characters.

My kiRAB are 4 and 5 so I am currently watching the Disney films ALOT. My favourites are rated in order of the ones that I enjoy watching over and over again without getting too bored. Also, they're rated in terms of the ones that I don't have to be a kid to enjoy because they were made with adults in mind too.

I epecially love:-

1:- Beauty & The Beast
2:- The Lion King (the fight scene between Simba and Scar at the end is so powerful.)
3:- Toy Story (1&2)
4:- A Bugs Life
5:- Finding Nemo

But I also have to say, thank you Disney!!! For keeping my kiRAB so quiet when they are watching the magic.

1. Cars
2. Toy Story 2
3. Toy Story
4. A Bug's Life
5. Monster's Inc.
6. Ratatouille
7. Finding Nemo
8. The Incredibles

The top 4 I love, the bottom 4 I don't like much. I fell asleep during The Incredibles!

The Jungle Book is the best for me by far.

Good story, the characterisations are outstanding and the songs are wonderful:

Everybody

"Look for the bare necessities........."

Toy Story/Toy Story 2
Fantasia
The Lady And The Tramp

Quiz question:

What connects cricketer Ian Botham with The Jungle Book

Just as a footnote and I'm sure its been covered. If you have the advantage of Blu-ray, Ratatoullie has to be a purchase on that format....It looks totally amazing!
