Best Disney Animated Film?

I am, and yes, costing me a small fortune too! :D Especially now the World of Cars have made it over here!

Do you know of the Cars the Toys boarRAB?


Bob Iger was interviewed in Forbes. He said (sic) ".. merchandise is huge, we obviously tapped a nerve.... a sequel is inevitable..."
 
Dumbo on so many levels - the only Disney cartoon where the main character does not speak and yet to me is a really emotional and powerful film which would lead many to tears for various reasons.
Also Fantasia came about thanks to the pink elephant sequence. Such a good film about outcasts, the norm, dreams and relationships on various levels.

Note to self : Must watch this tonight!!

I'm not big on Pixar films. Sure they're cute and entertaining but they don't have that timeless quality the oldies have. I would never watch them over and over again. Except maybe Toy Story.

The Jungle Book would have been there had I not watched it recently - it's not as good as I remember!
 
The Ice Age movies aren't Disney.

For me it is Beauty and the Beast. Don't think that will ever be topped.

Lion King and Little Mermaid come close behind it though.
 
Couldn't agree more, as I have already said - this film never fails to make me cry. Mostly when Dumbo goes to visit his mother in jail and she swings him in her trunk to that song but also at the end when he triumphes over all the bullies (cos ultimately thats what they were). Can't wait til my daughter is old enough to appreciate disney. She's only one and knows who Mickey is but thats about it!!
