Best Disney Animated Film?

Lilo and Stitch all the way, it might not be as instantly recogniseable as a classic compared to some of the other greats but to make a scifi cartoon in the miRABt of the cgi revolution and then to go one further and use watercolour techniques over more traditional animation colouring was inspired. It really highlighted the craft involved with animation. Plus it spawned the most adorable character ever concieved.
I was 20 when it came out at the cinema and I instantly fell in love with Stitch the first time I saw him on a poster. Five years later and i'm still absolutely crazy about him. I'd never been a cartoon kid, or a softy for that matter but he really got inside my heart, and getting my picture taken with him at the animal kingdom two months ago was the highlight of my trip over to the USA.

The Lion King is my favourite disney film ever! I loved it as a kid and so it will always have a special place in my heart. The stampeed scene always gives me goosbumps and I think it deserves to be one of the most important disney films besides Snow White, Toy Story and Bambi because it shows the death of a character on screen for the first time.

I would say Toy Story is my second favourite disney film. I remember the first time I saw it at the cinema. I felt like what people watching a colour film for the first time would have felt like. It was amazing being able to view this new technology for the first time in an animated film. Now most disney films are made like this, they don't have that spectacle or charm that Toy Story did!

My top 5 would be:
1. Beauty and the Beast
2. The Lion King
3. Mulan
4. Finding Nemo
5. Toy Story 2

My favourite non animated Disney is High School Musical :o:D

Well Pixar (or Disney-Pixar if you like to think of them as that these days ) are not just my favourite animation company, but possibly my favourite film company of all time. I'll have to say then, that my favourite Pixar film - and so favourite Disney animated film (even though they just worked in partnership when it was released) is Monsters, Inc. :)

Mulan, Sleeping Beauty, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Beauty & the Beast and The Lion King are probably my favourites. I think Mulan was the last good Disney, after that they kind of went down hill.

The best CGI from Disney/Pixar would be Finding Nemo and Toy Story.

Some of my favourites are
-The Aristocats
-Beauty and the Beast
-Toy Story
-Lady and the Tramp
-Cinderella

I have loved every disney film i've ever seen apart from Jungle Book. I hated that film :o

I've never seen The Little Mermaid or Bambi though, they seem really popular. I don't know how i missed them

Ha i've never seen Dumbo or Pinocchio either. My mum hated them both when she was a kid so she never bought it on video and let me have the chance to watch them :D

beauty and the beast
the lion king
the little mermaid
the hunchback of notre dam
pocahontis
aladdin

Partly due to the fact they all had outsanding songs / soundtracks

2-D: Aladdin, The Lion King or Beauty and the Beast (I think i like Aladdin the most :p)
Pixar: Finding Nemo

I pretty much love all Disney and Pixar films.

Robin Hood and Pinocchio are both triumphs. I'm not really as keen on the Pixar films but that's probably just because there's a lot of nostalgia attached to the older films for me.
