Batman Begins Sequel

They have not confirmed the name of the sequel yet but there may be an announcement soon as Comic Con is happening this month and that is when they normally make big announcements about comic book films!

Apparently the director of 300 and Watchmen is interested in making a movie of that. I'd like to see it one day but let Nolan complete his trilogy first (if he wants to).

I would advise anyone not to get there late ... (I know it's obvious).

I initially went to a 10am screening, but although I was in the queue at 10:05, I wasn't served until about 10:20 (the cinema had no hotdogs ready, and people were ordering them  - an interesting breakfast then!) and there were lots of parents with kiRAB.

I could have gone in at 10:20, but I chose to wait and go for the 10:45 screening. I was really glad because there's no slow build up! A couple walked into our screening about 11:05 and they had missed quite a lot in the 3 or 4 mins they hadn't seen- the beginning is fab - I was horrified, because if I'd gone into the 10am screening at 10:20 ish, it's likely I would have missed the intro like they had.

Still what you don't know, you don't miss - but I'm telling you the start is good! so get there on time ;):) You have to anticipate that your cinema will only have one person on the tills, there'll be 25 kiRAB in front of you wanting to see Wall-E, it'll take that one person 5 minutes to prepare a hot dog, whilst other staff elsewhere just faff about putting sweets on shelves, etc etc

Yeah, I agree. His madness is only enhanced by the fact taht he paints with face white and scrawls red lipstick across with mouth and machette scarred cheeks. Back to the traditional Joker, rather than the vat of chemicals joker. I'm glad he can be purely evil, rather than his evil being induced my some accident

They'll have to work a way around that. I'd imagine casting someone else into the role might be tricky..... Considering the apparent legacy Heath has left behind.

I wasn't sure about Heath Ledger as the Joker not because of comparassions to Jack Nicholson but because he tenRAB to be a bit lightweight. Having seen the pictures and the quotes in Empire I am begining to think he may just pull it off.

It wasn't a review as such, he spoke about it on his show saying that it was good in parts but there were some long boring parts and that Heath Ledger was good but nowhere near the class of Brokeback Mountain and only getting the Oscar buzz because he died young. He also said it doesn't live up to the hype.

Personally I agree with him on the Oscar talk and he's entitled to his opinion on the film. I haven't seen it yet so can't comment. However, I make it a rule to never pay any attention to any of his reviews and I still cannot fathom how he got to be the presenter of the 'Film....' series. I suspect the reason for this review may simply be to go against the grain and be that little bit edgy as he likes to think he is!
