Batman Begins Sequel

Yeah it does look like Heath Ledger Joker will be more like the traditional Joker than Jack Nicholsons Joker which is good. I cant wait till next year to see the Dark Knight!

Cheers for that - of course he's entitled to his opinions & not everyone can like all the same films. Obviously I'm not lucky enough to have seen the film yet. I find it a little uncharitable of him tho if he has said there's only Oscar buzz because Heath died. If he is to get nominated, I want it to be because he's put in an amazing performance, not for the sympathy vote (I do think he should've won one for Brokeback tho!).

I do think you may be correct tho and he may be being contrary on purpose! :D

Yeah, I don't want to abandon this thread. We don't need 'official' stamped on us to make us legit. ;)

By the way, my Batman Begins Blu-ray DOESN'T WORK.  The disc won't play. The other DVD I ordered works find so Play must have sent me a dodgy Begins one. Gonna have to pack it up and send it back now. I hope you have better luck with yours sillygirlflower.

There will be multiple Batmen, possibly led by the Scarecrow in an attempt to discredit the true Batman.

Bruce lives in a penthouse while Wayne Manor is being repaired... the Batcave may not appear... but he will operate from a garage.

The Joker is arrested and interrogated midway through the movie.

I've seen the photos :)

Totally agree - can't see Robin Williams as The Joker. It would be anti-casting. I associate Williams with saccharine schmaltzy over-the-top performances and he would ruin the Joker for me.

We need someone much, much darker...

I think some people deliberately don't know how to do spoilers to annoy people. Not many though.

I guess if you've never been told or found out, you don't know.

I trust Christopher Nolan casting of Heath Ledger as The Joker and he didnt do a bad job in casting Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman. The main problem I can see is that most people will compare Heath Ledger perfomance as The Joker to Jack Nicholsons Joker in Batman however I have a feeling that Heath Ledgers Joker will be a lot different!

The video isn't loading for me, is it You Tube being slow or have they pulled it already? All I'm getting are those dots going round & round, all other viRAB are working fine.

Nolan just doesn't need someone like her on his team. It's not as though she was the strongest performer in Batman Begins. My guess is that Rachel McAdams (if she enRAB up doing it) won't be playing the same character. It would mess up the series if they recast like that when they could have her playing Vicki Vale, Selina Kyle (I reckon she'd be suitable for both roles) or even a new character.

The only problem is that they've already done Vicki Vale and Selina Kyle in previous movies (Kim Basinger and Michelle Pfeiffer respectively) and having Vale as his love interest in The Dark Knight with The Joker would make it too similar to Tim Burton's Batman.

Rumours on Aintitcool about a Batman:The Dark Knight teaser being shown before Harry Potter this summer:

"I haven’t heard for sure that there’s going to be a DARK KNIGHT trailer on the front of HARRY POTTER this summer, but I’d imagine that would be the perfect place to put it.

And if it is there, I wonder if this is an accurate description of what we might see. Consider this a rumor for now, but enjoy:

Hey Harry,

My brother IM'd me a moment ago with a description of the Dark Knight teaser, saying I may report this to the nearest movie site or whatever. Apparently news about this has not been heard yet, but here goes: Black background, carRAB begin to fall in slow motion, the joker whispers things directed at Batman, the audience, the final card to fall is the joker, with also a picture of the bat signal on fire."

It does sound good even if it isnt true!

My only concern is that maybe with 2 villains it could be overcrowded, like Spider Man 3. But I suspect that Two-Face will only be in one or two scenes near the end, setting up the third movie. You've got to trust Nolan - he's a fantastic director and I doubt he's going to screw anything up here. Bring on the bat!
