Batman Begins Sequel

I was just going to start a new thred saying the same thing. Even just reading it you can tell he's joking. He was probably being probed for gossip from the Batman movie and that was the first thing that came into his head. Total non-story!

there were rumours he had trouble sleeping due to him being so obsessed with playing the Joker, which might explain the sleeping drugs coctail.

But, it's just a rumour.

I would love to see the Penguin and definitely catwoman as they are believable characters. It was Catwoman that saved Batman Returns in my opinion. The villians I would like to see, and think fit into Nolan's interpretation are:

Catwoman
Penguin
Riddler
Poison Ivy (as long as she is done in a real way, and not having magical powers that control plants)
Ventriloquist and Scarface

I'm sure there are lots more too

I think Heath Ledger could become the 2nd best Joker ever, sorry to say 2nd best but nobody (in my eyes anyway) will ever beat the late great Cesar Romero who made the role of Joker his own

I'm really hoping this Joker doesn't go the same way as most of the better arch villains in superhero movie franchises and end up dead

I think the only major villains to have survived so far in ANY franchises are:

Sandman (Spiderman 3)
Catwoman (Batman Returns)
Riddler (Batman Forever)
Mr Freeze (Batman and Robin)
Poison Ivy (Batman and Robin)
Scarecrow (Batman Begins)

A thought on Ethan Hawke...

He was married to Uma Thurman (who played Poison Ivy).

...as was Gary Oldman (Gordon)

Do Hawke and Oldman get on? Would they work on The Dark Knight together if they have personal differences?

Killer Croc?

My point was that we've already seen the Riddler depicted in a Batman film, as well as in the old TV show, and the animated series, etc. So he's hardly a fresh, fresh, 'original' villain, of the type Goyer was alluding to.
