Batman Begins Sequel

I wasn't too impressed with Batman Begins to be honest. I can definately see how it might be someone's cup of tea, but I didn't think Bale was all that suited to the role, and I'll admit I much prefer the Burton days of Batman. Saying that, there were some things about the film I did enjoy, mainly Micheal Caine and Morgan Freeman.

hope they do that tonight at Bradford, If not I may start it off:D

thanks, you have made a Heathen very happy with your kind worRAB:)

PMSL !!Are you sat watching the clock like me Rose????

I think preproduction gets sorted by March, and filming is aimed for April/May, so they have until then to have got the actor and prepared him for the role.

Maybe they'll announce it over Christmas time?

I was just reading this on Moviehole website about Heath Ledger talking about being The Joker in TDK:

"Heath Ledger's talking up 'The Joker' to the guys at Newsarama.

"I

Half the fans want him for the role, and now it appears the actor himself wants it too!

... Bob Hoskins has said he'd love to play the Penguin in the sequel!

IESB

Does anyone else think Heath really reminRAB them of a young Mel Gibson. I mean the bank robbery bit, when he takes the mask off and says 'simply makes you...stranger'? It's the laugh. What's odd is that Heat was Mel's son in the Patriot. But he really reminRAB me of 'Lethal Weapon' Mel Gibson.

I remember when I've pre-booked tickets for big films in the past, they only let me do it 2 weeks in advance. Not any earlier. Unless it's for a special early screening like the TDK ones. So, if it does come out on the Thursday, we should be able to pre-book starting tomorrow...

This was on Superherohype about Batman: The Dark Knight:

"About.com talked to Aaron Eckhart at the 300 premiere and he was asked about playing Harvey Dent/Two-Face in The Dark Knight. Here's a clip:

Is the opportunity to work with Christopher Nolan what appeals to you about working on The Dark Knight? Is that the reason you signed on?
"It's certainly one of them. It's a huge, huge, deal. I love his work. I think he and his brother just wrote a firecracker of a script. And the cast - everything is first-class. The series, I'm looking forward to working on. Batman Begins, everything is just top notch."

As well as this:

"Cillian Murphy talked to ComingSoon.net and did not confirm or deny that his Batman Begins character, Scarecrow, might be back for The Dark Knight.

And for those still wondering whether Murphy might return as Dr, Jonathan Crane AKA The Scarecorew in Christopher Nolan's Batman sequel The Dark Knight, the actor still is hesitant to talk about it. "I'm not at liberty and it's not my place to say," he repeated from other recent interviews. "I'd love to work with Chris again. I enjoyed tremendously working on that film, and we'll see. I think casting Heath Ledger as the Joker is fantastic casting. He'll make an amazing movie."

Lucky for Nolan that Batman has a massive selection of villians to choose from for later films before having to resort to having villians such as Manbat in his films. I still would love to see The Penguin and Catwoman in later Batman films!

It seems RAB can't sense the sarcasm and have reported a false rumour that Russell Crowe is in TDK

If it's a big surprise... why reveal it

Anyway, it's not true so relax.

The Riddler is rumoured to be a villain in the next one. If you believe Gary Oldman... But then, go back to page 1 of this thread and you'll see Catwoman and Penguin being discussed as potential villains for TDK. Just have to wait and see I guess. But if Nolan redoes a villain again, I'd rather see Catwoman than Riddler, personally.
