Batman Begins Sequel

There's an interview in Live mag (comes with the Mail on Sunday) today with Christian Bale - am desperately trying to find a link....

EDIT - nope, can't find it - sorry. Maybe it'll come online at a later date - have trawled all through the Mail on Sunday website to no avail.:(

Yeah, I remember reading that. Spending ages pacing the hotel room, then in the mirror perfecting the looks and working on the voice and the manic laugh. I thought it was really weird at the time, but now having seen the character, I can understand why he wanted to and why he needed to do that. He had this vision of how he wanted the Joker to be and then had to recreate the vision physically, emotionally and mentally. I am just stunned at the sheer talent and genius of not only Heath's ability to portray that character but Heath's ability to actually create the character in the first place.

If this image is real it's what we should have expected. He was never going to look like the classic Joker, it just wouldn't have worked. One question, is that actually lipstick on his face or skin discolouration/scarring? I would prefer the latter. As for the scarring, they're going to have to make Harvey Dent look a lot different to this when he becomes Two-Face.

I just wrote a long post replying to something in here and the computer froze up and I lost it. So annoying...

Yeah, it's defo the player. I bought the disc again in HMV and had the same problem. So now I currently have 2 BB discs that won't play, lol.

I have seen a fair number of reviews questioning who the film makers paid off to get such a low rating. Honestly, from what I've read a lot of core psychology of this film would go straight over the heaRAB of young kiRAB, making it unsuitable and likely dull for them anyway.

Interestingly this explanation for his skin was introduced a long time after the character appeared. There have been several retcons of it as well. I think initally there was no explanation of it in the comic so people just took it as a man wearing stage make-up. But certainly Heath's Joker is closer to the original concept way back in the early Batman comics.

I loved the make-up in TDK, my only gripe is I wish they had made the washed out green dye in his hair a little more noticable.

I saw it last night and thought it was OK for a blockbuster. It is too long and too intricate and too elliptical. It wasn't always easy to follow events, nor did I always care. Maybe it's better if you know the comics and have advance knowledge of what's going to happen.

I think this would be really good, iv'e red

Christian Bale, Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman have all signed up

and that

Robin Williams and Paul Bettany are front runners for the role of the 'Joker'

also

Katie Holmes will not be appearing because of the publisity with her and Tom Cruise, the next love interest has rumoured to be Catwoman, but with no names mentioned as yet, as to who is running for the role!!!!

I think it will be great as the first one was ace!!! aswell
what do you think?

On repeats! :o Honestly!!:o Quick!! Back to DK!!

Saw my first ad on tv tonight for DK......have seen it at the pics a few times, but it was freaky this evening when it popped on.....

(see how I changed the subject there CS?;))

I am a fan of River Phoenix. I think he was a great talent and it's a great shame that he died so young but I am not one of the people you have described above.

I know there are certain people out there that only form an attachment to a celebrity after they've died, and I agree, that is a bit morbid. But that's not everyone. I don't think it's weird to enjoy someone's work, even if they are no longer living.
