Batman 3. What would you like to see?

Would be ideal with Dark Angel's Alba in the role as she already looks good in action scenes and fighting is second nature to her:)

What I would like to see is Batman teaming up with Superman or another Justice League member which would
expand the choice of villains even further

Seriously we get the picture, you don't like Christian Bale, maybe you should go start a "I hate Christian Bale" fanclub and stop ranting about him in here.
 
The 12A rating was totally irresponsible. I'm still angry the BBFC were so spineless in this case. The film should have been a 15, no question at all. I've seen films rated 18 that could be considered tamer than TDK.
 
Hey hey, let's leave Christian Bale's acting out of this. He may be a shitty person, but a shitty actor? Not by any stretch of the imagination. American Psycho, The Machinist, The Prestige, 3:10 to Yuma, Public Enemies, etc.

and Christian Bale can't do emotion? Whatever. The Prestige and The Machinist, to name a couple, have amazing emotional scenes with him in.

As for what I'd like to see. William Fichtner as The Riddler. The perfect set-up being that when The Joker put the gas grenade in his mouth (first scene of TDK) he went mad.
 
Why should people 'get over it'? I don't think anyone is suggesting the likes of Catwoman be the main villain. Of course that wouldn't work. But if TDK can have two villains, why can't the next film? What makes Catwoman/Selina kyle works is the fact she can have a relationship with both Bruce and Batman that other villains can't have.

Catwoman is a far more interesting 'villain' than a lot of the grand schemers simply because she isn't so much a villain, but rather 'untamed'.

I do agree about Bane because, aside from venom thing, the comic book Bane fits well into Nolan's vision. If they could find a more believable way to explain his strength and avoid the ridiculous Nacho Libre mask then along with Catwoman could make for an interesting film.

So no, I won't get over her. ;) :D
 
what does annoy me is that even if nolan does not direct another batman whoever does get the job is going to be roasted over the coals. I really don't think thats fair. I like nolans batmans but i prefer burtons batman.

It would be nice if michael keaton was batman again.
 
I still love Burtons batman movies. I find it funny that warner bros were worried about how dark it was getting & as a result we ended up with batman forever & batman & robin.
I would love him to do another one but that will never happen.

oh & bring back michael keaton.
 
Well I wasn't blown away by the other two. Granted, they were a million times better than the old batman films, but still, I hate Christian Bale as an actor, I think he's incredibly over-rated, I just don't think he has the talent to pull off such a big role.

Also, I found T.D.N a bit grim and Batman's 'uber morals' character unlikable and hard to relate to. I just think the film had a poor atmosphere. The only think that kept me interested most of the time was Heath Ledger as the joker, who steals all the best scenes from Bale.

I also think it dragged on far too long, and the story tried doing too much- it just ended up being a mess. I still thought it was ok- but it made me long to watch something a bit simpler and more braindead, like Ironman :p
 
There is almost TOO much wrong with that film...
- The Bat Credit Card......*shudders*
- Barbara Gordon not being Barbara Gordon
- "This is why Superman works alone"

I wont go on...
As long as the 3rd Batman film shares no similiarities to Batman and Robin, I'm fine :)

I've been thinking about that and I don't think the Two Face make up pushes reality that much because essentially people make too much of Nolan's 'realism'. The films just aren't realistic. It is Batman after all. They did the Two-Face injuries in the most realistic way they could. The only other choice would have been to not use the character, but Harvey Dent is too interesting a character to leave out of the franchise.

But I wouldn't want them to start using 'meta-human' villains like ManBat. Never liked those sorts of villains in Batman
 
Yup. He was played by Tim Booth of James in the first movie. Very much a bit part, but that was Zsasz. The guy Rachel tries to keep in Arkham but Crane wants him in his care.
