Batman 3. What would you like to see?

I wouldn't think so given how the new series of films has taken a different direction. Batman: Triumphant was probably to be in the ilk of the Schumacher mess. Nolan is coming from a very different place.

Killer Croc, Harley Quinn or The Riddler would be good as the first two have not made into a movie yet and The Riddler I think would just go down well in the "third". As long as it doesn't do another Batman Forever and go down hill with the third installment, all should be fine.

Tom Cruise is a bad actor too now? Rain Man. I'll be the first to admit Mr Cruise has starred in his fair share of shite, but the man can act. Same with people like Nicholas Cage. People seem to judge them on only their most recent efforts, ignoring brilliant past work.

Tom Cruise is not a great actor, and I am not judging him only on his recent work. I am going all the way back to the beginning of his career. I have only ever liked two films that have had Tom Cruise in Rain Man was one of them, and I will admit he did put on a great performance in it. The other is Far and away, which I thought had a good story and pretty good acting. But other than that everything Tom Cruise has been in has been either poorly written or poorly acted. It has been said that Tom just doesn't take himself too seriously so maybe that is why alot of his films do not stand out.

Christian Bale on the other hand thinks he is goRAB gift to acting and can do no wrong. The sooner that people in Hollywood start to see him for what he is a second rate supporting actor rather than a first rate leading man the better.

Amy Adams would be perfect as Harley Quinn. She could easily taken on that role and master it (as she does with most of her roles). She has a cute quality to her which I think Harley has.

i agree, harley quinn would be great addition

bell is a good pick also

other acctress that come to mind are sarah michelle gellar and scarlet johanson, maybe that girl from my name is earl if she can up the acting

I can't remember the exact episode title but it involved the scarecrow dumping his toxin into the water supply under arkham & batman trying to stop him.

as i was watching it i was going "hang on a minute i've seen this already in begins"

After the Joker, most Bat-villans are going to be a bit second division in the eye of the general public, although you can argue for the Riddler and the Penguin. If you want a dark villan for the next Batman film look no further than the Batman himself. Taking the cue from the DK graphic novel (and a cinema hording as seen in I Am Legend) make it a Batman/Superman film. Batman set up as the bad guy, up against a flawed god/political stooge Superman. You have all the pieces for the contemplation of good and evil as well as the vilification and redemption of more than one character.

It's not as if Warners are doing much with the Kryptonite franchise at the moment.

That's so true. It is bad, but at least they didn't mess up the real Catwoman (Selina Kyle). As far as I'm concerned that Halle Berry abomination has nothing to do with the Catwoman from Batman.

Well it takes all sorts, because I was wondering when this supposedly highly rated powerhouse of a performance by a young Australian actor was supposed to appear. As far as I was concerned TDK was a very poor follow up so I guess the general disappointment didn't let me see how good Ledger was meant to be. Bale is a brilliant actor from roles as varied as Jim in Empire of the Sun to Patrick Bateman in American Psycho who, like every actor on earth, has starred in a dud.

The excellent Joker portrayal by Ledger has set the standard for future sequels. After watching The Dark Knight you realise that the villain is the real star of the film and that the Batman character, though the supposed superhero is just a supporting role.

Wasn't there talk of Ra's Al Gul's daughter coming for revenge on Batman because of her father's death when they were discussing The Dark Knight?

Personally I'd still like to see Catwoman - after all, if the Joker and Two-Face characters can be moulded to fit Nolan's take on Batman, there's no reason why Catwoman can't.

The 'organised crime' element has been pretty well established though in both films, first via Tom Wilkinson's character (with Scarecrow and Ra's Al Gul), and then Eric Roberts's character (with elements tied into Harvey Dent's storyline and Joker to an extent), so I imagine whatever villain they go for next will somehow tie into that.

I think it should start off straight after the dark knight no gap. Thalia Al Ghul would be good as a love interest and then Bruce realises that she is using him to do something else (to finish what her father started).

Hopefully Warner wont make the mistake of bringing some awful director (coughschumachercough) and then bring in Bane. Bane breaks batmans back. Alfred replaces bruce as Batman.

I think clay face may work if he turns into villains that have already been done but he puts the clothes on and doesnt change his physical form (for example he wheres the riddler outfit but doesnt change his face to look like him.

Hush, Riddler and Zsas are my choice.

I take it your not aware that Bale's Batman voice was digitally altered in post production to sound different. How it sounded onscreen was not down to Bale
