Batman 3. What would you like to see?

I thought two-face in the dark knight was just ridiculous or rather the make up was laughable.

harley quinn does not need the joker to work & if they wanted to include poison ivy they have a perfectly good episode to nick from the animated series "harley & ivy" because lorRAB knows they didn't mind nicking from the animated series for part of the plot to batman begins.

people need to get over the whole "only heath can play joker"

I would personally like to actually see Arkham Asylum in one of Nolans films i think the way he would show it would be great. And i would like to see the Gotham that was used in Batman Begins because it worked really well in the first film and i think it would of suited Heath's Joker brilliantly well. And would suit a dark version of The Riddler

I think people need to get over Harley Quinn & Catwoman too. Whilst interesting characters, there's no way that either of them can be the 'main villain', simply because it's not in either of their characters to have a 'grand scheme', which is what any film neeRAB.

Imagine Catwoman - Batman spenRAB the entire film chasing a stolen diamond.. hmmm...

Poison Ivy as the eco-terrorist sounRAB like the best bet out of the three - especially if she got her hanRAB on some kind of bio-weapon that caused lethal fungal growths on people (analagous to the 'poison kiss') or some such like.

However, I think having had the Scarecrow, and then the Joker, they've really set the way for Batman to more about 'psychological action' as opposed to 'boom boom' action.

I'm sticking with Bane, and I like the idea of Hush as well. Both smart enough to outwit Batman, and with no qualms about those who stand in their way.

Id like Christian Bale to get lpermanent chronic diarrohea, and be unable to take on the part.

i HATE Christian Bale, from that tape released of him screaming at that sound guy, abusive asshole. To in the dark knight, him uuncomftably and unconvincingly shouting at Heath Ledger's Joker, in the interrogation room.

"WHERE IS HE, WHERE IS HE, WHERE IS H.." Ahhhh shuddup you annoying jackass. That voice is soo fake and doesn't even work, honestly watch it again, and hear him. His whole batman voice, sucks.

I honestly think, seeing his interviews after and the coverage and admiration for heath's joker, bale is jealous and frustrated that he was completely out performed and classed, and the audience recognized it.

I watched it the other night; it really is as bad as people say it is, in a -can't-quite-take-my-eyes-off-it kind of way!

On topic, I think if handled properly Catwoman could work quite well - Emily Blunt?

As for Harley Quinn - don't know the character, so it would be nice to see her realised without inevitably comparing the character - I couldn't help but compare Joker and Two-face to previous incarnations. I also think that if Halle Berry's catwoman didn't have Michelle Pfeiffer's to be compared against it might not have been so badly receiver (apart from the fact that the whole thing was cr*p).

I think The Dark Knight proved that you can reimagine these characters to fit the 'vision'. So as long as there's some sort of grounding in reality for them, there's no reason why any of the previously realised villains couldn't be used (although how do you top Uma Thurman's Poison Ivy?:D)

Just out of interest - what is Two-Face at the minute anyway? Dead or alive? I don't think TDK ever specified.....

HAHA :). I didn't like the voice but it didn't really annoy me as much as alot of other people but it was soooo OTT it was ridiculous. The voice in Batman Begins i liked cause it wasn't growly and it hid his true voice. I got told it was a gadget he put in his cowl to disguise his voice and i swear you see him put something else in his cowl apart from the thing that help him hear converstions from far away.

Two-Face's make-up did look out of place in Nolan's more "realistic" Bat-verse.

What did they nick from BTAS for Batman Begins?

Ugh, no thanks.

It wouldn't go with Nolan's take on Batman at all, & it would bring into Batman the things from the wider-DCU I always hate appearing in Batman (aliens, metahumans, etc.).

Aaron Eckhart said he asked Nolan and was told that in no uncertain terms Two-Face was dead. He'd asked because he wanted to play the character again.

I would take it with a pinch of salt, though. Directors and writers lie their asses off all the time. I'm of the never say never opinion when it comes to things like this.

Yep the OP is right he is dead its here..
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0468569/faq#.2.1.147

but you never know with comic book movies but i dont think a resurection would fit in the Nolan universe although if he finRAB someway he can get brought back would be cool. To be honest Two-Face scared me a bit more than the Joker his random shouts make jump espicailly in The Dark Knight where he is sat in the hospital bed and shouts ' SAY IT' that scared the bejeezes outta me. Please say that made someone else jump cause now i feel stupid.

Finally somebody else who shares my way of thinking. I hate everything about Christian Bale, rubbish actor with a serious up his own arse arrogance and attitude problem. In the space of a year he managed to make Batman unaudible to the point where I needed subtitles to understand anything he was saying, and as made John Connor into a war hero you just can't take seriously.

In The Dark Knight it almost seemed like Bale continuously kept trying to out do Ledger, but all he managed to do was make himself look stupid. Ledger's performance made the film great, I just wish he got a better actor to play off in his final completed role.

Had a huge discussion with my brother in law about Batman only a few weeks ago, we both pretty much agreed that if Michael Keaton was Batman today playing off of Ledger's Joker it would be the greatest Batman and superhero film in general of all time.

As for what else I would like to see in the next film, it is difficult as their have been so many great Batman villains, from what I understand Nolan is not keen on using The Penguin, and I can understand that in someways, as for Catwoman I am unsure of I think she would work better in a later film aslong as there was more than one main villain. I would not mind seeing The Riddler as long as they get somebody who can play the role the way it is meant to be, and not a bumbling laughing fool like Carey's Riddler was. Other than that just keep Mr Freeze away from the franchize and we are good.
