Batman 3. What would you like to see?

"At A Press Conference for The Dark Knight, Gary Oldman stated "if the Dark Knight would get a sequel, the main villain would be the Riddler", He also said that The Character would be a form of cyberterrorist, "

It's here and there on different websites too.
No doubt it's just a rumour though.

Two-Face was the main reason I feel TDK should have been rated a 15 and not a 12A. His story and character was so complex I doubt the primary school aged children who were being taken to see the film had a clue what was going on!

Fantastic character, absolutely beautifully played by Eckhart. Now, don't get me wrong, Ledger was amazing as the Joker but I feel Eckhart was just as amazing as Two-Face. He managed to redeem the character after what Batman Forever did to it and I wish he got even half the attention Ledger got for his efforts. His portrayal of Two-Face is every bit as worthy as Ledger's Joker.

I bet Chris Nolan gave the film to the guy who does the subtitles first so it gave him enough time to decipher what Christian Bale was saying in time for the DVD release. :)

Even if it is just a rumour David Tennant would rule as The Riddler. As much as I like Johnny Depp i like it when Nolan uses less well known names in his films they always seem to be stunning and Tennant would be just that.

Riddler would be ood, but who to play him?

Can you Imagine the damage the joker and the riddler could have done in tandem, say Heath and depp :o.

Its most probably going to be riddler and catwoman.

So long as Nolan directs am happy, along with Bale, Caine, Olman, and freeman

I do think it's a pity that Two-Face was (allegedly) killed off for good.

When I first saw TDK, I was quite surprised that he died. I had hoped it would have been setting him up to be the main villain for a third Nolan movie. Instead his whole arc was over rather quickly.

I like the idea of The Penguin as a mob boss trying build the mob back up after the events of The Dark Knight. His nickname is the penguin. Victor Zsas would be good. I think Nolan would be good at doing a story dealing with Inmates escaping from Arkham (i no it was done in Batman Begins) but it could be done over a longer amount of time in BB it was the last 20mins in this it could be a much longer time (Penguin could let them out) Nolans Penguin with Nolans Catwomen would be great Phillip Semour Hoffman sounRAB like a great choice.

what was really annoying about that tape of his tantrum:

NOT ONE person spoke up in defence of the person screamed at, everyone seemed scared of bale, and wudn't dare to tell him he was being a douche. Asshole to the biggest degree. Spose that's Hollywood, and the power of the modern leading man.

Watching it now on prem+1, argghhhhhh, heath ledger is ideal, and bale is so pissed that heath has outperformed him, haha

Just imagine if McG or Peter Jackson took over it would either be a very bad action film or a 6 1/2 hour long borefest that is dragged out for way to long. Nolan is the only man for a job no director should touch what he has done if any diector was going to do a Batman film they would have to reboot it not following on from Nolan.

I do sort of agree with this Heath as the Joker was one of the greatest villains I've ever seen. But there wil be a capable actor who can do a great job aswell with Nolan around. I'm not saying I want The Joker in the next movie its just my opinion

I do remember David saying in an interview that he went for a big Hollywood audition "It was for quite a big Hollywood film"

Just found the story

The next Batman movie probably is not it but I would like him to do it but wouldn't mind Depp either.

The idea was for the Joker to make Harvey Dent two face in the third movie but that got scrapped. Im suprised it was a 12 A aswell i mean Robert Downey JR didnt understand it.

Playing through 'Batman: Arkham Asylum' on PS3 at the moment i keep imagining how this story could have been told had Heath Ledger not died. Having the Joker slowly turn Harley Quinn insane and then both of them breaking out of the asylum could have been brilliant. Alas though, the Joker should absolutely not be reintroduced into the Nolan-verse movies now that Ledger has gone.

'Victor Zsaz' might be a good baddie to do for Batman 3 though, imagine Batman attempting to stop a deranged serial killer while himself being hunted by the police.

Michael Caine said there's no way Depp will be involved with this Batman series. I'm guessing Christopher Nolan thinks it would be too obvious to cast him in a role.

I don't think The Joker should appear at all (unless it's footage previously shot of Heath in the role). It was such a memorable performance there is NO POINT in recasting just for the sake of plot. They don't have to say The Joker is dead, they just don't need to show him. The Riddler (could combine him with Hush, who was a childhood friend of Bruce's), The Penguin, Talia al Ghul, Catwoman and Harley Quinn (they NEED a female villain IMO) are all characters they should consider.

Heath Ledger originally signed on to make 2 movies i think they would of made two face a main villain in the third had Heath died just before they filmed Harvey's death scene.

i think that the riddler is a must for a new movie heard the rumours about johnny depp getting the role which would be good and also eddie murphy which is true would destroy the new batman serious but for some reason even though i cant stand him i think that david tennat would make a kick-ass riddler and also catwomen in the movie eswell just as long as it is not angelina jolie someone like rachel weiz or kristen bell would suit the part perfectly

Nolan had once said in an interview that the 3rd film was already planned. It featured The Joker and Scarecrow teaming up properly and unleashing the infamous Joker toxin. No Batman series has ever made a third film though.
Burton - 2.
Schumacher - 2 (THANK YOU).
Nolan - 2...
Let's hope they go ahead and continue.

David Tennant as The Riddler = GOOD. There's also an idea going around that The Penguin could make an appearance as an arms dealer (as they all need a realistic "evil" occupation). Johnny Depp is really good, but there's a danger that he could end up stealing the show away from other characters. (Pirates Of The Carribean)

I'm still gonna support the idea of Harley Quinn being in the 3rd film. Her costume wouldn't be difficult to make realistic either. Not as much of a threat on her own, she is willing to team up with another villain to help her Mr J. Pave the way for The Riddler/Penguin etc..

Je ne concur. Actually, reading again, the nolan movies, probably you are right. But depending how long he goes on for, or how many more he makes. For people saying that the joker should be permanently retired, it bullshit, and are just emotional cus of Heath. No matter if he died, and gave a great performance, you CANNOT eliminate and retire a character that is so integral and important to the timeline and the essence of Batman

And, if (god forbid ) Christian Bale died, people were starting to say that Batman should be retired, i would have to hunt every one of them down, and kick them in the groin

Chhhrrriissstttiiiiaaaannnn Baaaaaaaaaaaaale......Youuuuuuuuuuuuuu Succcccccccccck
