i am SO looking forward to the rest of the story coming out.

i've got a few ideas......

1. he refused to give ID initially so made himself suspicious
2. he's a known protester and engineered the situation
3. he intentionally gave a fake SSN
4. he unintentionally gave a wrong SSN
5. he didn't give all the paperwork required for the load he was carrying
6. other, but still implicating him for doing something wrong.

........I've got a 1 month sub bet that it's one of those. takers?

What a stupid ass thread, created by a true dumb shit.

1. Article is date April 21st, 2010
2. Federal Officials detained this guy, not AZ LEOs

I am not sure you know what reasonable inference means. you see a car keep cruising around and looking around in an area where drugs are sold a lot. You infer (aka what you believe to be the next step by logically thinking about what you have seen) is that they are going to buy drugs.

You see a guy nervously looking around and keep looking in a store window, you infer that he wants to rob the store or is being a look out for a robbery, or is committing some other crime.

Yes I can. He has to prove his nationality if asked.

that can mean passport or birth certificate or enough other documentation to satisfy ICE or Homeland Security officials.

We done now? Or you going to keep arguing stupid shit here?

WHO GIVES A FLYING FUCK WHETHER IT WAS STATE OR FEDERAL?

The god damn point is that he shouldn't be required to carry around a damn birth certificate when he is an American citizen.

Forcing people to buy healthcare isn't a great idea and I've said it before.

What is the unconstitutionality of universal healthcare?

Pot kettle

It tells me that this happens with or without the law, and the law is going to have a minimal impact.

What does it tell you?

How many fucking times does it need to be said?

When this law goes into effect, a valid AZ drivers license (or AZ ID card) will suffice as "proof of citizenship" for the AZ law. Thus, if you have an AZ drivers license, you don't need to carry your birth certificate.

CAN YOU BELIEVE IN A "FREE" COUNTRY TRUCKERS HAVE TO PULL OVER TO WEIGH STATIONS AND PRODUCE PAPERS?

...and if we applied that logic to the wall-of-fail that results from a 'threads started by user' search under your name(s), we would have a complete psychological profile of you just by examining January-Febuary 2009.
