Oh, please; I would expect both men to show respect towarRAB our flag. However, VoR is the one constantly usig the rant of " I served." So what ? Many have served, and there were those who were placed in peril and managed to win a Bronze and Silver Star, while others supported the war but considered themselves too good to serve.

Yes! He served and is STILL serving as the Commander-in-Chief. I'd call that service, as would most Americans.
I'm not impressed with Kerry's war record, BTW. Getting nicked while shaving on a patrol boat and getting sent home after 4 months isn't exactly the thing that heroic movies are made of.
VoR served his country and, IMO, that gives him more of a right to speak out than someone like me and you who never had to lay our lives on the line for our country. We owe him respect for defending OUR freedom.
