i think drug education is widespread enough that, even if it were decriminalized/legalized, 99.9% of non-users would remain non-users.

Thought the same thing but didn't feel like pointing it out and, FWIW, that is the term used anyway

African-Americans = not descendant from slave families, merely immigrants

The top 20 or so (could be more, can't remember) nations with globalized and open production economies, usually calculated by GDP and other economic indicators

We'll see what happens in California. If they legalize in November and within a few years the state hasn't imploded, I think it'll gain some traction nationwide. Not for a federally-mandated legalization, just allowing it on a state-by-state basis.

I think a lot of states will legalize in the near future if the California experiment goes well.

There's some fucked up shit going on here, but "ZOMG WE HAVE PEOPLE IN PRISON" doesn't mean anything. It could mean we have more criminals than other countries. It could mean we have more effective police and courts than other countries and more criminals get convicted. It could mean we execute (summarily or otherwise) fewer people than other countries.

So stfu with your hippie bullshit.

You're missing the point then. Decriminalization and Legalization are two totally separate policies

That's why this is confusing some people.

You're talking about pure legalization only.

Or it could mean that more things are illegal here than in other OECD nations.
