Albums You're Digging II

You're welcome - glad you're enjoying it. I find myself listening to it a lot more than I thought I would after I first heard it. Perfect for when you're in an aggro but still groovy mood.

I may have already posted it on this thread a while back (either this or the recent DLs thread) but I'm still really digging this Mimosa album. Slightly dark breaks..

I've been a fan of these guys for quite some time but never checked out this album until now. Very nice stuff, especially considering it's from 94. This was their debut release, and is pretty mellow compared to the ones I've heard. There are 2 other albums in their discography that I never listened to, and I think it's time I do...along with a revisit of the ones I do have.

Sending the link now! :D I still can't believe someone with a Black Metal background would end up making such gorgeous stuff! Huge kudos for him though

^^ By far my favourite 'Tallica record. I still enjoy throwing that on every now and then. Its a fantastically explosive and gritty thrash record, which in my opinion is something you cant say about any record they released after that. Not even Master of Puppets which is much cleaner and more technical than Kill Em All. Some of the riffing in tracks like The Four Horsemen and Whiplash is great.

Elliott BROOD - Mountain Meadows

Not a new album for me, but one I still cannot listen to enough. Everything just flows so well in this album. Their debut LP had a very distinct 1st and 2nd half, but this one just blenRAB their darker sounRAB with their lyrics much better. I can't wait 'till they put out a new album :)

World weighs on my shoulder but what am I to do?

They played that this fall when I saw them...holy crap - great, great song!!!

Have you heard Jacob's Ladder?
