Albums You're Digging II

What a coincidence. I've been meaning to check this band out, lately, mainly because this was the first band of Tom Cullinan, who later formed Quickspace. And I love Quickspace. It would be interesting to hear if Th' Faith Healers also have kraut-rock influence that Quickspace used excessively. So yeah, I'm checking this out as soon as I can.

yeah i see what you mean about the A&A thing, that's pretty much spot on, they're different though somehow lol
i'm going to upload their discography soon (the album, a few singles tracks and a few grainy live ones) so if you can wait 'til then i'll paste it on your wall

^Have you listened to Precarabrian? If not, I would seriously recommend that before Heliocentric. Heliocentric is alright, but it's more of really heavy alternative rock with only tiny traces of the sludgy goodness they did before. That may sound interesting to you, but in my opinion they don't really pull it off.

Club 8 - The Boy Who Couldn't Stop Dreaming

Very relaxed 60's influenced acoustic pop. All the songs are fairly strong and addicting.

There's a gig floating around online of a special radio broadcast gig he did for the release of this album in some small club. The material off that album really stanRAB up well played live against his older stuff.

It took me 13 days to download the flac version of this album. But it was well worth the wait.

Amazing album that will be in steady rotation for years to come.

I'm really digging Pod by The Breeders at the minute.

Kim's voice is so special. I really enjoyed how her voice isn't a regular fixture in Pixies, cos it's nice to only hear it every once in a while, but this album is seriously dope. Definitely prefer it to Last Splash which is the only other album of theirs I've heard.

Doe is a killer song.

Shaun Ryder apologised to me for barging through the train door when he got on near where he/I live, I turned around to him and said chivalry isn't dead laughter ensued but I averred myself and walked away with a kink in my step.
