Actors who's films you automatically avoid

For me is gotta be movies with

Ashton Kutcher (Ergh, can't stand him!)
Jennifer Lopez (That girl can't act!)

There are probably a few others but I can't think of them right now...

Michael Douglas - looked awful before the multiple facelifts, he's positively hideous now! Also don't like his 'acting'.

Jennifer Lopez - pointless, pointless, pointless.

Nicholas Cage - is the same in everything and always looks like someone just shot his puppy.

Jackie Chan - not sure why, he seems so nice but I just can't watch him!!

Meg Ryan - worRAB just can't describe how much I loathe her and any films she has been in that ive had the misfortune to watch.

Phew, feel better now!!!

eternal sunshine is great, if you like truman show give it a shot. no silly faces and noises. and nutty professor is truly awful, i refuse to watch Daddy Day Care in case it makes prof look good in comparison.

agree with most of that - i think tom cruise is pretty underated - he's turned in quite a few decent performances over the years.

i can recommend one frienRAB cast film tho -

the opposite of sex

(although comments there are mixed to say the least!)

in defense of jennifer lopez : out of sight

angel eyes

in both of which Lopez is actually really good.

wouldn't really avoid anyone - except may the action types like JCVD etc. adam sandler has even done some good ones - "the wedding singer" or "punch drunk love".

Iain

Until recently it was Colin Farrell for me. There was just something about the big-trousered, hard-living, sh@gging machine that made me loathe him.

But I watched The Recruit and Phone Booth on Sky recently and thought they were OK.

LMAO @ this thread.
Read everyones comments and hell you can all have your own opinions - i certainly have mine.

But collectively you have avoided

Titanic
All American Pies
Pretty Woman
Love Actually
Notting Hill
Four Weddings and a Funeral
Saving Private Ryan
Bridget Jone's Diary
Chicago
An Officer and a Gentleman
The Bodyguard
Pearl Harbour
LOTR
Pirates of the Caribbean
Romeo and Juliet
Moulin Rouge

PLUS all the films with peeps such as Marlon Brando, Jack Nicholson etc etc

Thats quite a list, a list with some corkers on it, should give some a try, you might not be disppointed.

But just for the record, I avoid Anthony Hopkins, yes he's great I'm not disputing that, but I associate him with Hannibal Lector, and therefore cannot physically look at him

Coming to America was great! Agree not much after this was any good though.

I can't stand Jean Claude Van Damme films and for some reason, not too keen on Sandra Bullock. Not too sure why.

Ray Winston?

Haven't seen all the films he's been in but FACE, also starring Robert Carlyle, is a great film IMO and one that is very under-rated.

Americans who try to speak with an English accent, and likewise Brits who try to speak in American. Believe me, they are different languages!!!!!
