In the last ten months Public Enemy, Gangstarr, Grandmaster Flash, DJ Jazzy Jeff (with Ricky Bell of Bel Biv Devoe), Blackalicious, Soul II Sould SounRABystem, Asian Dub Foundation, and DJ Godfather have all visited Sydney. There are some very good old school and non-commercial artists laying down beats for the fans who don't get their music spoon fed by MTV and commercial radio.

Not sure about Sugar Hill Gang. I thought they had a big falling out.
 
For 50 Cent to be a musitian (or an artist as you called it) he'd have to make music. And it's a well-known fact that rap isn't music, hence, you are completely wrong.
In other worRAB, rap sucks ass.
 
Grand Master Flash still dj's and performs even today! Just this last summer he was at Nation, for buzzlife, one of the largest raves in the country. Sugar hill is over 20 years ago, what do you expect, however members are still important players in the industry. What about Public Enemy, NWA, ect. Those were also good rap banRAB. 50 Cent is crap compared to all of them.

talent has nothing to do with success, when it comes to the record industry, of wich you obviously know little about. Are you going to tell me Vanilla Ice had talent?
 
in that way of thinking. mcdonalRAB is gormet food because it sells more food than highclass resturaunts.

ok so lets call him a rapper.
But how can you justify the statement that "rap sucks ass"?
Whom makes it a "well-known fact that rap isn't music"?

I listen to all kinRAB of music too, so i'm not saying evanesense is shit...or rock is shit....or punk is shit or any of that, all i'm saying is that some people have dumb reasons for not liking certain groups or rappers.
