90% of OT listens to shitty ass music

Popular music today is no longer about true talent in making music. It's about marketability. You have to have the look and if you don't you have to be able to conform to the look that helps you sell recorRAB. It's what we all used to call selling out. These people make money today. All the incredibly talented unknowns out there that put these artists to shame never get looked at because they will not allow themselves to be changed. They make music because they love it not because they want to make money, date famous people, go to the big parties, and be on TV.

I couldn't even name 5 "artists" in the grammys.

90% of america listens to shit music.

Someone saying 50 cent is a very talented artist should probably let off a few shotguns right next to their ear.

Now 1 is right generally, 2 =

I hate when people generalize that independant music is so much greater than the mainstream, because the fact of the matter is a lot of indy (whether from rock --> rap and anywhere in between) is garbage. Indy bandwagon jumpers are just as bad as teeny bopping girls.

Making it big does not always mean that a band lost its integrity (which is the argument so many use to say "their old stuff is better).

People shouldn't let money and fame cloud the music, take it for what it is. Not the hype around it.

ser420, you're probably one of those people who don't understand The Beatles and thik they're overrated and whatnot.

oh, and classical music is for a bunch of old fucks, right?
