Funny you should mention this! I had a vague recollection lately of a scary show I watched as a kid. I could remember the music that featured - like a 50's pop tune "Shakin' All Over" or something, but couldn't remember the show, even though it frightened me half to death as a kid! Of course, after some deft Googling, it turned out to be Black Carrion from Hammer House Of Mystery And Suspense.
Trying to get these DVD's is an absolute joke. I cannot find any combination of volumes for a reasonable price. Does anyone here know if it's getting a DVD re-release or anything. What a shame to see a great show get lost on eBay.
Also been catching up with Hammer's Dracula run as they're so cheap at the mo. Watched Dracula Has Risen From The Grave last night. Bit derivative, but it's lovely to look at (in spite of the crazy filters threatening to ruin things), and a terrific performance from Ewan Hooper as the priest. I think I've managed to buy most of them, though I can't find the Satanic Rites of Dracula at the mo.
I did say in my post above it's not a seventies film.
