DON'T flush the transmission!!!!!! It will never work right ever again after that. Only add fluid. Don't drain it, flush it, or change it. ADDED: If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Just drive it and enjoy it.

Short of rebuilding, or replacing the transmission, there is nothing you can do. Have you checked the fluid level in the transmission? Maybe it's just low on fluid.

I agree. The dealer can make more money off you by selling you a new car. Rather than fix your old one. Simply bleeding the brakes again should fix your problem. Take it to a REAL mechanic.

Do you have any leaks? (antifreeze, power steering fluid, engine oil?) that may be contaminating the belt? Did you buy a good quality replacement belt? Gates belts are the best. Or are you using the cheapy belts?
