    Had my first PT session today. So far so good. I was on the traction machine for 15 minutes and then 15 minutes on electrical stimulation and heat on my lower back. Going again on Thursday...will keep you posted. Janice

    Stitchsim, that sounRAB like the machine they hook me up to at PT. They put the electrodes on my back where it hurts and then it emits a pulsing heat. It feels good. Janice

    I am starting physical therapy on Monday. Among other things, the doctor has prescribed lurabar traction. I hope PT helps.

    I had my second PT session today. Kept me longer on traction and longer on the electrical stimulation machine. 5 minutes on the bike and then he gave me some exercises to do on the table which can be done at home. A little sore this morning, but so far so good. Hope it keeps improving for me.

    Thanks Deb. My hubby has no fear. He has always welcomed surgeries in the past and if I leave it up to him, he would be in the operating room as I type. LOL I feel bad that he has pain...thank God he can sit and sleep without pain....he has pain standing and walking. He is 77 years old...
