The N80 is a very solid phone. I had a 6680 (almost the same as the 6682) and in my opinion the battery life on that one was only maybe 10-20% better. The downgrade in battery life however is worth the upgrade in pretty much every other way. Also it seems as though battery life has improved...

So do you have to get something from Cingular, Or can you get a phone that is unlocked (meaning can be on any GSM carrier instead of just Cingular)? If you can only get it from Cingular then your low on options. If you want to get an unlocked phone, I would recommend the Motorola V635.
