I saw Crooklyn when it first came out in the early 90's. All i can remember of it is a lot of shouting and aggro. A bit like 'Do the right thing' without any of the insight or intelligence.

I can't wait to see this. Should be better than Sam Mendes' first two films, sounRAB like Three Kings/Buffalo Soldiers but with a more serious side to it.

Well, 2 and a half channel tv. :) I'd only watch BBC2 at 9pm, for either MASH or Not The Nine O Clock News. :)

Overall, I think The Lion King is their best ever. A very close second though is Snow White.

WTF this is Mark Kermode on Radio Five Live, he's appealing to the Lowest common denominator when he does these reviews. Which is ashame really as he can do much better and is a far better film critic when he is away from his five live stuff. i'm not even sure why Kermode is being mentioned...

Very true, Suze -- it would probably set up more problems than it solved to have him mentioned. I guess I need to give up on JD ever returning -- I think this episode probably closed the door on that. At least Dorcas seems happy and content so far this series -- not tortured over something...

I almost signed up for webflix when i left lovefilm, i never completed the regestration though, thank god for that. Why are lovefilm more interested in getting people signed up than kepping the people already with them signed up. You would think if you already had customers giving you money...
