If I recall they aired Tom & Jerry seperately from the Tex Avery/MGM cartoons. I vaguely remember that.

I'd say MacFarlane chose Cleveland because he didn't want to mess with his successful "doltish, chubby father, shrill wife, 2.5 kids & some random animal that talks" formula by centering a new series around a bachelor. :sad:

Yeah, I do realize that, but having the series run on Comedy Central will give it a huge boost to the mainstream. Half the people out there probably aren't even aware this series ever existed.
