To be fair the last few mentioned aren't really films though, if she is looking for shocking films they probably wont appeal, if she was just looking for gross shit on the internet they would be right up her street.

The exclusive thing has been going on for over a year (was on when I still worked there last april). I don't think blockbusters are that worried, since they've bought a lot of choices old stores. That doesn't strike me as a company worried about finances.

being a lover of indian cinema,i expect films to be 2 and a half to 4 hours long,if feels dont make it to 2 hour mark i feel cheated,unless its a comedy

This is one of those DVD's where on first watch its creepy and scary (cause your not quite sure what to expect yet you know its a horror) but on 2nd/further watch you think "what the hell was ever creepy about that". It has a re-watch value of zero in my opinion so I kinda regret buying it

I also have the silver assault-with-a-deadly-weapon paperback. Great for annoying people on the bus.:) John Varley doesn't seem too bothered about filming his work; on the basis of Millennium it's hardly surprising. Incidentally, the VHS version has a slightly different ending from the cinema...

I thought he was good in Collateral and reasonable in a few others like Magnolia and Interview With The Vampire, but I can't say I'm any sort fan. Besides he's another Scientology freak which makes it kind of difficult to take him seriously as a human being - anyone see that Oprah interview...
