The only Halloween film I ever liked was Halloween III season of the witch, a couple of others were pretty good but I think nothing beats Season of the Witch.

I've got a feeling that unless you're a film freak or over a certain age, where you remember those wonderfully crappy cinemas that had a nice sense of 'community' (I say that with genuine affection :D) ...then you'll probably hate this film.

Being a devoted Firefly fan, the film was a disappointment. Whedon killed off too many people I was really fond of! I wanted to know their stories. I can't go into detail in case I spoil it for people who have yet to watch, but I would heartily recommend the series as opposed to this film...

Magnolia's the best out of those. The guy's the hottest director in Hollywood right now. I would've said No Country For Old Men, but it decides to switch the type of movie it is in the last 2 minutes, unfortunately. Gosford Park's pretty good too. If you're a fan of the director watch that.
