Really appreciate your opinions. No spoilers please!

Anyone seen them all?
 
Out of those I have only seen Monster's Ball. Not a bad performance from BB Thornton. But my god what a boring film it was.

Just my opinion though. I know people who thought it was great. Just not for me though.
 
Gosford Parks good, abit slow....No Country for Old Men is totallly overrated, dont watch it! Havent seen the rest but Monsters Ball is supposed to be great, although maybe ppl are only saying that because of the sex scene :S
 
If you're having a few people round and having drinks then Dog Soldiers would be ok. Preceeded or followed by a classic comedy horror.
 
No Country for Old Men is a great film, Just don't expect a "Hollywood ending."

Talk to her is also a wonderful film by Pedro Almodovar. Look out for the surreal "Silent Movie" scenes in the middle of the film.

Seen all the above, I recommend starting with Magnolia, good film.
 
Personally, I'd avoid No Country For Old Men, quite possibly one of the worst films I've seen for a while - or at least save it til last.

Talk To Her on the other hand is an amazing film but if you're a Almodovar novice you might want to try All About My Mother first before seeing Talk To Her.
 
Magnolia's the best out of those. The guy's the hottest director in Hollywood right now.

I would've said No Country For Old Men, but it decides to switch the type of movie it is in the last 2 minutes, unfortunately.

Gosford Park's pretty good too. If you're a fan of the director watch that.
