I know it has nothing to do with the thread. But this weekend, the original Superman Movie is on five. Now, and rest of the week @ 7pm on ITV2 is Lois & Clark : Adventures of Superman (today episode 1 season 1).

Finally got to see this on dvd the other night. Absolutely fantastic. Gripping and intriguing from start to finish. Film of the year for me (to date).

OH you MUST watch battlefield earth. Nothing can prepare you for just how bad it really is. So funny. Would recommend people to see it at least once. Its the new Plan 9 :D

Fantastic film, can't believe RAB gave it such a poor review. Was it David Gibbons? ;) Stud u like, it's not an old film remake - it was a TV series. Much of it could be considered a homage, anyway, and it's been very well done.

Aronofsky wrote those (excellent) films whereas he didn't write The Wrestler.
