Get Smart

Saw it this morning after winning tickets from local radio station. Went not expecting too much but have to say its very funny with some very good set pieces. Highly recommended! :)

Went to see it last week and it was brilliant. Really funny. Wern't expecting much from it so that is probs why I was surprised why it was brilliant!!

Saw it today, hilarious.

Steve Carell is a genius! Love him as Michael Scott in the Office, loved him in Anchorman, Loved him in 40 Year Virgin and now in Get Smart he is just brilliant. Would love a sequel, definitely one of the funniest films I've seen at the cinema.

Did anyone notice in the Aeroplane scene before Smart and Agent 99 flew out of it, Paris Hilton sitting further down the plane? I'm not sure if it was or just someone pretending to be her as the camera panned so fast through but I think it was her, can't see any confirrmation online though.

If you like Carrell, I recommend Dan In Real Life, it wasnt a big hit but its on sky box office now and I tried it on a whim and really enjoyed it.

Fantastic film, can't believe RAB gave it such a poor review. Was it David Gibbons? ;)

Stud u like, it's not an old film remake - it was a TV series. Much of it could be considered a homage, anyway, and it's been very well done.

Although I enjoyed it, I didn't find it as funny as I expected. I chuckled a couple of times, but not his usual laugh out loud stuff. I didn't particularly enjoy the first half that much, but the second half was quite good.

I second the recommendation, it's the only one of his other films I have seen and he was great in it.

This one's pretty good, a few laugh out loud moments and some very good set pieces. I also really enjoyed Alan Arkin in it, very funny (and also on Oscar winning form in Little Miss Sunshine).

It was suprisingly funny - some bits were abit odd and the diction was very good in some parts of the film.

My favourite part was definately...

Maxwell: Are you thinking what I'm thinking?
Chief: Are you thinking, 'Holy shit, I just nearly had my head skewered by a swordfish'.

Or something like that.

Steve's a very good lead. Would love a sequel!

Saw this yesterday and it was one of the most enjoyable and entertaining films i've seen in ages. In one word it was just simply 'FUN'! :)

Very funny in places, great set pieces action or otherwise and just one of those films that puts a smile on your face. Could definetely recommend it as a film for the whole family!

Anne Hathaway was sex on legs! Gorgeous!
Steve Carrell was just funny! The Rock was also good lol.

I'd probably watch it again and it's definetely a 'date' film too. Would also love a sequel! :D
