I think the reason The Birthday Party are so well known is because they pretty much based themselves in London most of the time they were active, which was where most of the indie press were based too.

Hmm.. its hard to say. Blue Notebooks was more emotive and sounded like it was made for a CD. This was used as background music for a ballet so it doesn't sound very interpersonal. Not that that's a bad thing, just that it sets them apart. But when all is said and done I think I like this one...
