Naruto Shippuden not to air on TV in the States?

Yes, just less. But that's not going to happen, so its a moot point.

Ben 10 was made possible by Teen Titans. Several key players in Teen Titans went to Ben 10. And Star Wars was made possible by Star Wars: Clone Wars, the Microseries that aired on CN/Toonami in 2003. TCW wouldn't have happened if it weren't for CW's success, George Lucas said so himself.

Oooo the OP with only a bit of text. That's neat. Though I expect they'll add subs at the bottom for the OP for both the dub and sub versions they'll be streaming.

^See, the problem with this situation is that we shouldn't even have to get this excited that they're actually airing Naruto.

I swear, they better finish it's run without pulling it. I don't even care if they don't air Shippuden at this point, I just want to see them finish the original.

They should just have a big marathon to get the fillers out of the way. At this rate Naruto will be dead and CN probably won't air Shippuden unless they do something quick. Naruto Shippuden may go good for Adult Swim though if they still care about anime anymore.

"Naruto Shippuden not to air on TV in the States?"

Honestly, it's a little too early to be assuming it won't, and even so it would be uncharacteristic of Viz not to at the very least make a strong mention that it may or may not have it's new home on their website or Joost or Hulu. Frankly, I don't see why it wouldn't solely be on Naruto.com, so long as it was region-free. Even so, in these changing times with the advent of New Media and the turning of tides in the Home Video market things must happen and be witnessed before we say for sure Naruto will or will not air on Cartoon Network or on a United State network.

Same, Naruto deserves a good finish on CN and a last anime dvd box release.

Im Really surprised CN has done nothing with naruto, I think if they had a naruto marathon they would do really well.

but hey, thats CN for ya.

after this week we'll get two episodes again.

And about adverting how about some promos on tv during the gooRAB shows they have left and most of all promos on tonami jetstream.

Yes, because boycotting a television block on a children's network makes perfect sense when it is what replace another children's block on the same network. Because Lord forbid CN want to create a potentially stronger brand for their own originals.

Seriously guys, you are being silly. YAH is YAH, Toonami was Toonami. Let it be, nobody is going to go anywhere if all we do is complain. If you do not want to watch a certain block, do not watch it. Keep it from your mind and do something else with your time.

Why are most of the people here giving up on the possibility of the Shippuden dub airing on TV?

I think that it will air on TV, and get good ratings as well.

It is the EXACT same thing Hulu said they were doing
airing 8 episodes every week subtitled til they are where japan is starting jan 2
Its not a dub, viz doesn't know when the dub will air.
naruto.com, Hulu.com, and Joost.com are airing the same thing sub titled shippuden

http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2008-11-17/viz-to-stream-naruto-within-1-week-of-japanese-airing

its also airing saturday deceraber 27 after justice league movie
i think. Unless that changed.

also what is so special about naruto 216-220
because Hulu was making a big deal about it. Is it shippuden or just canon naruto episodes essential to understand shippuden.

There SHOULD be a marathon of the remaining filler episodes though in my opinion.

And they should advertise the bejeeves out of it, both in online aRAB and on TV.

I think this whole situation of whether or not Naruto Pt 2 will air over here was taken completely out of context when they made their announcement.

Naruto is popular over here. The dvRAB are selling, the merchandise is selling and it's getting tv ratings (we can tell this by the nuraber of time they're airing all 3 movies).

I think I can safely say that come 2009, Naruto Shippuden will still have a home to come back to.
