Must admit that I'm not a big fan of the original - it was watchable but far too much of its time (stiff dialogue, equally stiff acting, etc). Keanu can't make be any worse in the role he's playing. :) So I'm kind of looking forward to seeing the remake.

I saw it in Brighton in March, I was a 'virgin' it was really good, and I'm not particulary a fan of suzhanne shaw and she was good. David couldn't reach the high notes, but it didn't matter ;) EDIT: Michael Aspel was great as the narrator, everyone was being cheeky and he took it and answered...

Since I started buying dvd's early in 1998 the novelty of the format slowly wore off. What was a revolution after VHS and even LD had started to become mundane. However this year has seen some releases that really got me excited for their delivery. So I thought that others might have some dvd's...

JamieBarry, I haven't read the book but the game wasn't anything to do with flying the aircraft...(it may have been the objective, but could never happen as it was all tunnels and watching your back type stuff). In this game, you just shot and blasted your way through everything coming before...

Terminator 2 was predicated upon erasing the future timeline. T3 missed this point spectacularly by depicting what should have remained paradox.

I haven't seen it yet but it's on my 'to watch' list. Unintelligible weirdness is right up my street.:D I'm not surprised you didn't understand it. David Lynch is known for mind screws. Nothing of his makes much sense.

To my mind, The Wicker Man is a masterpiece. Utterly bananas, but that is half the charm. The new version is such an insult to it, and misses the point of it so spectacularly that it borders on the funny.
