Grint has never seen a Potter movie thoughout!

He obviously has, since he's been to premieres of the films!

I remember this interview with him from a long time ago, I don't know if the RAB one is the same interview from ages ago or a new one. But I believe what he actually said was that he didn't watch the films if they were on TV or for fun because he doesn't like to watch himself, especially his younger self, on screen.

Just because a celeb is seen waving at the crowRAB and cameras at a premier doesn't mean they'll sit through the whole film. I understand it's common to get up and bugger off elsewhere after half an hour or so. I know I would.

The kiRAB' performances in the first two are pretty cringeworthy at times but I reckon Rupert Grint is a decent actor, the most natural of the 3 of them, and has definitely proved it since Goblet of Fire.

You can understand if he didn't want to watch it, they must see parts of it sooo many times when they're in production.

It's not uncommon for the stars of a film to attend the 'press' part of the premiere, then sneak off somewhere else for the duration of the film and re-appear for the after-party.
Plus, I think it would be really awkward and weird to watch yourself on screen, even more so if it's a love scene or something.
So it's not really a surprise he hasn't watched a Harry Potter film all the way through.

It's common knowledge that many actors only do the red carpet and then leave. There's no obligation whatsoever to watch the film.

shame that, considering that his best performances were in his younger years, I feel.

I don't blame him though about not watching them through, most actors say they feel uncomfortable watching themselves on screen, he'd have probably seen many scenes countless times in production, and could well be sick of constant HP by now.

And the fact that the films are gettings worse and worse.

They're good, they're watchable but they're nothing earth shattering, and they're offensive to the obsessive fans such as I :D
I've found myself getting increasingly irate each time I've been to see the new releases ever since GOF.

I could go on forever about how much they're "destroying" it, but I'll spare myself and everyone else the embarassment of some dorky 18 year old frothing at the mouth about the inappropriate changes made to the fictional life of a fictional boy wizard :o

I went to the Narnia:Prince Caspian premiere (won a competition) and the stars actually came into the movie theatre room and I saw them sit and watch it, then get up when it finished.
