Who Am I Now?

I've watched about half of this so far, and that little blond boy is REALLY getting on my nerves ! That awful whining voice !
Yes, I know it's dubbed from the original Italian, but still !

I remember seeing this years ago,rob zombies house of 1000 corpses had a freuRABtein type monster near the end that instantly reminded me of the movie.

Not one of my favourite Lucio Fulci movies I must say.

Mind you it was 1981 you say. He did some scary s*** back then:eek: Zombie Fleash Eaters/ City Of The Living Dead/The Beyond.

It's a good film. The least of Fulci's 'zombie quartet' for sure, but still a decent enough piece of thickly-layered incomprehensible Italian gothic. The use of widescreen is great, and the celluloid texture is very rich and 'filmy', something which has been sorely lacking since the start of the 90s and prevails to this day. The opening theme alone is pure 'horror film' for anyone who as a kid was always sent to bed just as they were starting.

I just love the scene of the mother not questioning the housemaid as to why she's mopping up a massive pool of blood, and if I was rich would have it on a loop with other Italian horror scenes throughout my massive house on massive teles.

My least fave of the Fulci 4 but it certainly got the BBFC hot under the collar and its been the most heavily cut of the 4 for nearly 30 years but within the last year or two was finally unleashed uncut.

I still have the US Anchor Bay dvd from 10 years ago so waiting for the Blue Underground Bluray now or perhaps Arrow might get there

The little blonde kid turns up again in another Italian film but I'm not sure which one .

I think it was a Lamberto Bava film who's title I can't recall
