    Rockford Fosgate t40001bd?

A 200A alternator will provide a ton of audio power. Unless you plan to try to run that 4kw amp at near full volume a LOT of the time it should cover you. You'll also need to upgrade your 3 main charging system wires -- alt output to batt (+), batt (-) to chassis and engine block to chassis...

How should I set the frequency and gain on my Kicker zx1500.1 for 2 12" L7's?

The gain is set in relation to the signal strength of your head unit. With the amp set to low level the voltage range of the gain is from 1/8v to 5v. At high level it's 1/4v to 10v. Most HU's are in the 2-4v range so most likely you'd use the low range setting. 5v would be fully counter...

Is one 15 inch kicker l7 enough?

a 15" L7 in a hatchback is capable of serious output. It will take a nice amp and a good enclosure, but if it isn't "enough" for you - you have an SPL addiction problem.

question about adjusting gain on a kicker amp?

Is this one of the zx amps? the 08 and 10's both have an input level selector. You'd want to use the low level setting which makes the range 1/8v to 5v. That would make 50% around 2.5v. So it seems to me the 30-40% range would be in the ballpark. Here's a step-by-step to gain setting by ear...

what is the best car audio brand on the market today?

You're going to get about 20 different answers to that. All things considered I think JL is right near the top. Their entire high end line, Speakers, amps, subs, processors are all among the best on the market. They may not be THE best in every category, but they are always in the discussion...

what is a good wire gauge for the kicker zx1500.1 other than 0?

The amp is conservatively rated. I would want something larger than 4 awg. 2 awg would get it done.

1200 Watt Car Audio on stock Alternator?

1200w isn't a HUGE system on an average size electrical system, but your listening habits will have a lot to do with it. It's important to understand music has no where near a CONSTANT high current demand. The 1200w rating is in reference to playing a full volume sine wave -- music, even at...

Why do i keep blowing my L7 15" Kicker on my Hifonics 1610 Brutus amp?

concern #1 Mono amps aren't bridgeable. Concern #2 You have a 1500w amp and a 1000w speaker. If the sub's a dual 2 wired for 1 ohm and you're not well informed on the use of a level/gain control and bass boost you have a formula for disaster. Enclosure size and type can be a big factor as...

How many watts would i need in an amp to power a single 15" L7 kicker? How about 2 12"s?

can you run 2 12' kicker l5 or l7s on a crucnh 1100 watt amp?

sure, but it wouldn't run them anywhere near their potential output. By 1100w Crunch I'm guessing you mean the advertised max power. I believe that amp would be 500-550w rms which is about right for ONE 12L5 dual 2 to run at about its potential. There wouldn't be much point in running multiple...

can i fit 2 kicker cvr 10s behind the seeat of my 1998 singlecab s10?

The sub is 5-9/16" deep so your box would need to be about 7.5" deep minimum for wood thickness and magnet clearance. Plus you'd need a little bit of clearance on the front side so the cone is free to move. I'm not sure if you have that kind of depth or not. You could try mocking something up...

kicker sub and amp question. zx1500 with solo x 12 inch?

Break in had nothing to do with it. If your L7 was a dual 4 and wired for 2 ohms that amp would double the rated power of the sub. And being inexperienced, if you cranked the gain and bass boost that amp would certainly damage that sub, sooner if not later. For the SoloX - the s12x4 would work...

will a 1000 watt amp and a yellow kicker 12" kill my battery on my 93 celica?

The yellow kicker is the comp, which is only 150w rms. I'm guessing your 1000w kenwood is 500w rms and if you want to keep from burning up your kicker you'll need to run the kenwood at a pretty low level. I would expect a 93 celica has a relatively small charging system, but still - an amp...
