    I have 4 kicker L5 15s 4 ohm and i have 2 memphis pr1.1000?

Sounds right, they are dual 4 ohm voice coils? Then you can wire a pair down to 1 ohm, and the other pair to 1 ohm as well. The power numbers match pretty well too. Just make sure you set the gain correctly! The gain is not a volume knob! .....Depends on what you consider sounding good. It...

What Could Cause A Car Stereo To Quit.?

Check the wiring, if thats good maybe its just blown. How can we know what happened over the internet? LOL. Perhaps you should take it to a car audio shop and they will figure it out.

2 or 1 ten inch kicker?

If you only have the p300.1, i would run a single 10 CVR in a ported box. Running 2 is almost a waste, since your amp is so small. Keep the single 10 and put it in a ported box. Are you sure the impedance will match up properly? How did one of them blow, did you have the gain too high? The gain...

94 toyota corolla stereo wont work?

Im guesing the wiring wasnt secure enough, and when you jammed the radio back in the dash, something came loose and shorted out. Look in the owners manual to see where the radio fuse it! Also, I would invest in a 12 volt test light.. makes jobs like these very easy.

    Car/Audio Help! Car Audio Installers!?

Well, are these the lower priced entry level models? If so, here are the specs. Power range: 50-150 watts RMS (800 watts peak power) So, a 300 watt amp give or take a little bit should suffice. Remember peak power really means nothing. But, please use model numbers when asking questions so...

what should i put my gain and bass boost on for my kicker L7 15?

The gain is solely used for matching the input voltage from your head unit. You are really supposed to set it with a DMM (digital multimeter), but read the kicker manual, they have an explanation there.

What is the best box for 2 alpine type r's that are going in the trunk of 1998...

Thor, WRONG, ported boxes can sound even better than a sealed box when properly designed. If you have the space, go ported.

    good car audio setup?

Hmmm i have had some decent luck with newer cadence products, although they arent what they used to be... same with planet audio. What are you going to use for the subs? That planet audio amp would be underpowering them quite a bit. Are you sure you cant modify the opening for bigger...

How Much SPL Can You Get Out Of a Kicker Solo X 18" 10,000 Watt Dual 4 Ohm Subwoofer &

These are just terrible questions to ask--- one of the worst questions is "how many SPL will this hit"--- who can say? All cars and setups are different. It depends on the car, box, how well you seal everything, and how will you support 10,000 watts? You will need at least 2 alternators unless...

Kicker impulse Marine - 10M 10" sub, how many watts?

Those are lower end kicker subs, I would give it about 200 watts, they dont have a very high power handling. Decent sounding subs though, just dont expect ear bleeding loud.

    car audio 6x9s in rear?

LOL no, thats silly what you heard about 6x9's. Many cars have them! They arent THAT much bigger than 6.5 speakers. Anyways, when you have a sub, you should be cutting out the low bass to your interiors anyways, either by using the high pass filter on your head unit/amp, or using bass blockers...

Is it bad to run my 2 12" kicker comps with a 600 watt amp?

What kind of amp? Is that 600 watts peak or RMS power? Please give us more info about your setup. Thats a good amp if its the older bp model. The gain is NOT a volume knob, it is to match the input voltage from the source unit. However, when you are "overpowering" subs like you are doing now...

    Will kicker cover my subwoofer?

It definetly should be covered! They will probably ask you what kind of amp, what kind of box, but if you werent overpowering the sub, or had it in the wrong box, they definetly should warranty it! (as long as its still under warranty). But the best thing to do would be just to call them...

    kicker cvx 12" problem?

Call/email kicker, ask them how much a recone cost. Or, search for kicker factory authorized repair centers, or do a search to see if you can buy the recone kit seperate, and attempt it yourself.

Has anyone ever purcahsed a Dual Car stereo?

No, not really. Its a low end brand, not good quality. People come here often and ask "why is my dual thingy not working". They fail much more often than reputable brands. Save up for a reputable unit. Get a cheap pioneer from wal mart even... you might spend more replacing the cheap dual when...

    factory stereo and subs?

Not too bad. You just need an amp, a sub, a box, and a line out converter. The line out converter, or LOC, takes a signal from your stock stereo and sends it to the amp. Some amps also have "high level" speaker inputs, so you dont need a LOC, you can just splice wires from your rear speakers...

My 6x9s *pop* as soon as i turn up my stereo?

First off, your deck puts out about 20 RMS watts, not 50. Peak power means nothing. Could they be blown? The voice coils might be damaged. Is your bass jacked all the way up?

Car Audio System Question about Door Speakers?

No, it will never sound the same as a sub. Second, you are looking at PEAK power. No 6.5 car speakers are 800 watts. Also, I think you are probably looking at cheap flea market equipment that claims huge power, but wont even put out half of what they claim. And your math is wrong, you dont add...
