94 toyota corolla stereo wont work?

i wired my stereo up and before i put it back it worked fine and then i put it all back in place and when i did i turned the car on and smoke came from the stereo...bought a new stereo and it wont turn on

Checked the fuses but is there another one some where or can you tell me where to check
 
Im guesing the wiring wasnt secure enough, and when you jammed the radio back in the dash, something came loose and shorted out.

Look in the owners manual to see where the radio fuse it! Also, I would invest in a 12 volt test light.. makes jobs like these very easy.
