there is a code that needs to be punched into the radio before it will power up. get the vin # and cal the dealer. they can give you the code. you may also find the code in the owners manual. the dealers are supposed to put it in there. most don't though.

the starter will cost about $100-$150. the labor should be about $75-$100. but have the starter tested before you replace it. this can be done without removing it from the car. you may have another problem other than the starter.
