The cost of fixing a oil leak on a 94 Toyota 4Runner?

I just shipped my car from mn to tx. I had a friend of mine take a look at it and had told me I low on coolant and I needed an oil change and also, found a leak on the bottom of the car but didn't know where it was coming from.... I just want to know what the estimates would be for it so I wouldn't get ripped off at the shop.

it depends on where the leak is. could be as little as 30-40 dollars. but could be more than the car is worth. have the engine cleaned, then drive it for a few days. have a mechanic check it to see where the leak is.
